HAWKWELL PARISH COUNCIL

1926-2022
It is with immense sadness that Hawkwell Parish Council heard the announcement that Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II had passed away.
We offer our deepest condolences to the King and Royal Family.
She will be greatly missed as our Monarch of the UK and Commonwealth, and as our towering figurehead. Her Majesty had an extraordinary reign and she will be remembered, not least for her unwavering sense of duty, service and devotion.
A Book of Condolence will be opened during the period of mourning. It will be available for Parishioners to share and express their condolences.
This will be available in the Parish Office at the rear of Hawkwell Village Hall between 10am-3pm each week day, from Monday. The Buckingham Palace e-Condolence book is also available online; please see the link on this page.
Floral tributes can be laid in Magnolia Park recreation field in front of the painted mural wall, where three new Magnolia trees were recently planted in celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
As a mark of respect, all Council meetings during the mourning period have been cancelled.
